October 29, 2026

Avon, OH - The Philadelphia Phillies have named Peter Fatse their new hitting coach, adding another chapter to the career of a former league player.

Fatse played for the Florence Freedom (now the Florence Y’alls) during the 2012 season before transitioning into coaching. He went on to serve as the Minnesota Twins’ Minor League hitting coordinator in 2019 before joining the Boston Red Sox, where he eventually became the team’s hitting coach in 2022.

Now, Fatse brings his experience to Philadelphia, continuing his journey from MLB Partner League Baseball to the Major League coaching ranks.
