ISAAC ROHDE WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
Left-handed pitcher Isaac Rohde wins Pitcher of the Week after a stellar performance on Friday night against the New Jersey Jackals. Rohde tossed seven scoreless innings, only allowing two hits while striking out a dozen batters. Thanks to his efforts, the New York Boulders captured their first series out of the break and now sit just five games back from the Miners for the East Division lead.
Rohde is enjoying great success in his first professional season as a part of the Boulders’ pitching staff. He currently ranks second on the team in wins (3) and is averaging over a strikeout per inning. His 3.19 ERA leads New York’s starters. Rohde is the second Pitcher of the Week award winner from the Boulders this year, and is the third player overall from the club to take home a weekly honor.
