JORDAN DIVALERIO WINS PITCHER OF THE WEEK AWARD

AVON, OH –The final week of the regular season featured many dominant performances as teams battled for playoff berths and seeding. For his role in helping his club to a division title, Washington’s Jordan DiValerio was selected as the final Pitcher of the Week for the 2025 season.

Jordan DiValero held Down East to only one hit while striking nine Bird Dawgs on Friday night, pushing Washington into a tie with Lake Erie for the Central Division lead. Washington’s victory on Saturday, combined with losses by Lake Erie, allowed the Wild Things to repeat as division champions. DiValerio’s 10 wins in 2025 tied him for second in the Frontier League. He also won 10 games for the Wild Things in 2024. DiValerio came to Washington following three seasons in the Boston Red Sox organization.
